Godwin Emefiele, suspended legislative head of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), showed up at the government high court in Ikoyi, Lagos, around 9:18am on Tuesday, gripping the Book of scriptures.
The King James Version(KJV) of the heavenly book was tucked inside a red soft cover.
Emefiele will be summoned before Nicholas Oweibo, the managing judge, over affirmed "unlawful ownership of guns".
On June 9, President Bola Tinubu suspended Emefiele and requested that he move his obligations to Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi, delegate lead representative, tasks directorate.
The following day, the DSS reported that Emefiele was in its Custody for "a few insightful reasons".
