APC Vice Chairman, Lukman resigns over alleged plans to impose Ganduje as Adamu’s replacement

The National Vice Chairman (North West) of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Salihu Mohammed Lukman, has resigned from the position.

Lukman's acquiescence was in fight over hypotheses that previous Kano State Lead representative, Abdullahi Ganduje, ought to be named APC's National Chairman.

In a letter dated July 26, Lukman said the ongoing atmosphere within APC was not pair with the vision of the initial architects.

The letter was addressed to the APC National Working Committee, NWC-led by the acting Public Director(National Chairman), Abubakar Kyari.

Lukman had cautioned APC against supplanting the previous Public Executive, Abdullahi Adamu with Ganduje.

He said supplanting Adamu with Ganduje would be self-destructive.
